Simon Zizer
SWS was established by Simon and Irene Zizer commencing with one Rear Lift Vehicle, in the Sydney Market, in 1998.
Simon has grown the company to be a leading waste and recycling service provider to the industry, specialising in niche markets, with services to residential living, hospitality, commercial offices industrial and retail centres. His rigorous work ethic and ‘’can do’’ attitude has set the foundations for the ISSE Group.
The growth of the company has been underpinned by Simon’s commitment to exceptional customer service, building a reputation for reliability in the provision of Total Waste Management Solutions and securing strong relationships with major commercial, retail and hospitality companies.
With the introduction of second generation family in the management of SWS Simon remains in an active role and key contributor to the company’s future.

Elon Zizer
Elon Zizer has near two decades experience in the waste and environmental sectors starting in a part time role, to his current position today. His skill set and diversity in commercial waste and recycling range from business development and relationship management, to contract delivery and performance management, to ultimately overseeing all facets of the group today.
Elon played a key role in the group’s expansion into the national marketplace and is consistently identifying new opportunities for investment through both horizontal and vertical integration.
He has been part of the SWS senior management team for over ten years having previously held sales management, associate and finance roles in a variety of industries including Banking, Medical and the Property Industry. He studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, as well as Building Construction and Property Management at UNSW.
Elon has been an integral part of SWS and is currently leading the group into an exciting era of growth with diversifying into the development of recycling facilities, supported by a focus on sustainability and viability.

Gavan Holloway
Gavan Holloway has nearly three decades experience in the waste and environmental sectors. His skill set and diversity in waste and recycling, specialising in residential and commercial contracts has seen him play significant senior management roles with the industry’s most respected companies.
He combines a “customer first” focus with the necessary commercial understanding to develop tailored solutions for the industry.
The implementation projects of 450,000 bins in initial roll out (Christchurch NZ domestic) and up to a million bins over contract terms (SMS Municipal Services), are an example of the management capability of Gavan.
He has held key management roles in Local Government Domestic Contracts including Christchurch (NZ), Mosman, Hunters Hill, Bega, Wyong, Willoughby, Hornsby, Dangar Island, Coffs Harbour and Warringah.
His track record in motivating teams and leading commercial operations provides SWS with the necessary foundation for stability and growth in a very competitive environment.

Megan Stokes
Megan has been working in the accounting industry for 25 years. Previously working as the financial controller for one of Australia’s major mortgage broker firms for 6 years, gave Megan the experience she needed to start her own accounting firm in 2009.
Megan is a focused accounting professional who has a history of providing consistent leadership in the financial areas of a business.
Megan has had significant experience in the waste industry through her employment with Sydney Waste for 15 years. In this time she has seen the company grow to one of the largest Waste Companies in NSW. Megan was admitted to the Institute of Public accountants in 2010.
Megan says this about her role in the business: “It has been very fulfilling to work with Sydney Waste, seeing the business grow from a small family business to one of the largest waste businesses in the state, all without losing the family values of an SME’’
Mark Diamond
Mark Diamond is one of Australia’s leading Employment Law and Industrial Relations Consultants. Mark was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in August 1978 and has been working in industrial relations and employment law since the beginning of 1980.
Mark is an independent adviser having been a founder of Ausgroup Consulting back in 1982 and more recently Workplace Advisory Group in 2007.
Mark has had significant experience in the waste industry having acted for a number of the major businesses in the industry as well as being the advisor to the industry body WCRA for a number of years in the early 2000s. Mark calculates that he has been advising in the waste industry for the better part of thirty years.
Mark is on exclusive retainer to Sydney Waste Services and says this about his role in the business:
